What we collect when you buy airtime, data or pay a bill on PolyTopUp — why we collect it, who ever sees it, and how to control it.
PolyTopUp ("we", "our", "us") operates a platform for buying airtime, data bundles and paying bills instantly across MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use that platform, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If anything is unclear, write to us — we'd rather explain plainly than bury it in legal text.
Personal information you give us or that's generated by using the platform:
- Name, email address and phone number.
- Payment and transaction history (top-ups, bundles, bill payments).
- Device and browser information, including IP address and user agent.
- Cookies and usage data described in §6 below.
Non-personal information we collect in aggregate and can't reasonably tie back to you:
- Aggregated usage statistics across the platform.
- Analytics data used to improve reliability and performance.

Our services aren't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we've collected such data, we'll take steps to delete it promptly.
We're based in Ghana. By using our platform, you consent to your data being transferred to Ghana and any other country where our service providers operate, in line with applicable data protection laws.
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
