Terms of Service
The rules for buying airtime, data bundles and paying bills through PolyTopUp — written to be read, not just filed.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PolyTopUp, including our website, mobile experience and any related services (together, the "Platform"), operated by Polysphere Tech Ltd ("PolyTopUp", "we", "our", "us").
By creating an account, or by using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to use PolyTopUp. By using the Platform, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet these requirements.
- You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and PIN.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, whether or not you authorised it, unless it results from our failure to keep the Platform secure.
- Notify us immediately at support@polytopup.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- We may suspend or request re-verification of an account showing signs of compromise or suspicious activity.
PolyTopUp lets you purchase airtime and data bundles for MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo, and pay bills for supported providers, in real time. We act as an intermediary between you and the networks or billers — we don't set network coverage, service quality or billing terms for those underlying providers.
- Deliveries are typically instant, but can occasionally be delayed by factors outside our control, including network downtime at the receiving carrier.
- We may add, modify or discontinue specific bundles, denominations or billers at any time, with reasonable notice where the change affects funds already loaded to your wallet.
- Prices are shown in Ghanaian Cedi (GHS) and may change at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including Paystack. We never store your full card or mobile money PIN.
- You are responsible for entering the correct recipient number and biller reference. Because top-ups and bill payments are delivered instantly to the network or biller, transactions cannot be reversed once confirmed — including if you entered the wrong number.
- If a transaction fails after your payment is deducted, we'll automatically reverse it to your wallet or original payment method. Wallet refunds are instant; card and Mobile Money refunds depend on your bank or provider.
- Report a suspected duplicate charge or failed delivery within 7 days at support@polytopup.com, with your transaction reference, so we can investigate.
When using PolyTopUp, you agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, money laundering or purchasing airtime or bundles for a number you don't have permission to top up.
- Attempt to interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without our written permission.
- Misrepresent your identity or provide false information when registering.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
We aim to keep the Platform available at all times, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend access for maintenance, security reasons, or factors outside our control, including outages at a network operator or payment processor. Where practical, we'll give advance notice of planned downtime.
Certain features rely on third parties — mobile network operators, billers, and payment processors such as Paystack. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We're not responsible for outages, errors or losses caused directly by a third-party provider, though we'll always work with you to resolve issues on our end of the transaction.
The PolyTopUp name, logo, and all content, design and software on the Platform are owned by Polysphere Tech Ltd or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or redistribute any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polysphere Tech Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of data or missed transactions caused by factors outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim relating to a specific transaction is limited to the value of that transaction.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or gross negligence on our part.
You agree to indemnify and hold Polysphere Tech Ltd, its officers and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we suspect fraudulent activity, or where required by law. Where reasonably possible, we'll notify you of the reason. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including liability, indemnification and governing law — will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will first be addressed informally by contacting support@polytopup.com; if unresolved, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the Platform or applicable law. We'll post the revised Terms here and update the "last updated" date above; material changes will also be communicated in-app or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
